Meet the West End Dental Team

Alice, Hygienist

Alice grew up in Beirut, Lebanon, attended French immersion school and studied Sociology prior to moving to the US.

In 2005, she graduated with a degree in dental hygiene while living in Pennsylvania and raising her four boys.

Alice strives to build strong relationships with her patients and looks forward to seeing them each visit and empowering them to keep and maintain a healthy smile.

Beyond work, hygiene study clubs, and continuing education, Alice stays very active in the outdoors. You’ll most likely run into her on trails in the Columbia River Gorge. She enjoys hiking, trail running, backpacking, climbing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Deanna, Hygienist

Deanna grew up in a small town near Tacoma, WA, and received her first degree in Psychology from Seattle University. In her previous career, she worked in sales and management, but she left this path to pursue her dream of becoming a dental hygienist. She relocated to Portland in 2018, and graduated from Clark College in Vancouver, WA with her degree in dental hygiene.

Her interest in dentistry stems from an early age of always enjoying her dental visits. Her goal going into the dental field was to help her patients have as positive of a dental experience as possible. One of her favorite parts of being a dental hygienist is being able to help guide and educate patients on the best unique ways for them to achieve healthy smiles. She believes that education in prevention of dental diseases is key to long term oral and overall health.

Some of Deanna’s favorite things outside of dentistry include sleeping, pizza, reading, exploring new restaurants with her boyfriend, cuddling with their 3 cats, and watching football (go Hawks!). While she is a fan of leisure and is a homebody by nature, her personal goal is to create a more active lifestyle by exploring more of the outdoor beauty the PNW has to offer.
